Melissa Manchester is an American singer-songwriter from the Bronx, New York, known for pop and adult contemporary hits of the 1970s and 1980s including Midnight Blue, Don't Cry Out Loud and You Should Hear How She Talks About You, which won the 1983 Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female. She has released more than 20 albums since her 1973 debut Home to Myself.
