Melanie MacLaren is a Nashville-based indie folk singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist who grew up playing classical music and sets traditional folk instrumentation against ambient textures. She released her debut EP Kill My Time independently in 2022, then signed with Tone Tree Distribution and put out the duets EP Tadpole Emporium with Dublin songwriter Lorkin O'Reilly later that year, the EP Tourist in April 2023, and the EPs Songs are Ghosts and Bloodlust in 2024.
