Madre Cumbia

Madre Cumbia is a Colombian cumbia collaboration between Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Fruko and Carmelo Torres, presented on tour as a live show built around the album of the same name. The project traces the genre's lineage from the gaitas and drums of Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto through Fruko's Discos Fuentes-era tropical production to Carmelo Torres's cumbia sabanera accordion.
