Lyfe Jennings, born Chester Jermaine Jennings in Toledo, Ohio, is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He began his recording career in 2002 after serving a prison sentence, and his albums include Lyfe 268-192 (2004), The Phoenix (2006), Lyfe Change (2008) and 777 (2019). His best-known singles include Must Be Nice and S.E.X.
