Low Water Bridge Band is a country and bluegrass band based in Berryville, in the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, drawing on traditional country, bluegrass, Southern rock and Appalachian music. The lineup is Logan Moore on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Travis Tucker on lead guitar, Justin Carver on pedal steel and banjo, Jacob Torrisi on bass and vocals, and Riley Kerns on drums and vocals. The band bills its own sound as big natural country music, and its writing centers on small-town life, physical work, love and loss, and the mountains the members call home. Its debut album, Midnight in Virginia, arrived in November 2021 with ten tracks and remains the group's main Bandcamp release. It was followed in April 2022 by the paired singles Too Stoned to Care and High, Blue and Lonesome, and by a second album, Back to the Valley, in November 2023. The group has spent several years touring the East Coast and Midwest, sharing bills with established country and Americana acts, and has continued through lineup changes with further material in progress. Press coverage has come from Americana UK, which singled out the band's alt-country swing and its accounts of life in the rural mountains, from Wide Open Country, which described the songs as a portrait of small-town mountain life, and from Whiskey Riff, which framed the band as a name to watch in the wider Americana field around the release of its second record. Live, the arrangements are anchored by the pedal steel and banjo pairing at the center of the band's sound, with harmony vocals from Torrisi and Kerns behind Moore's lead. Alongside its touring schedule the band plays regional Virginia dates, including historic sites such as Belle Grove Plantation in Middletown.
