Lenny Kaye

Lenny Kaye is an American guitarist, record producer and music writer, born in New York City in 1946 and raised in New Jersey, best known as the longtime guitarist of the Patti Smith Group. He compiled the 1972 garage-rock anthology Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965-1968, and has written for publications including Rolling Stone and Creem.
