Legend Zeppelin
Tribute to Led Zeppelin
Legend Zeppelin is an American Led Zeppelin tribute band formed in 2023 and based in Los Angeles. The lineup is August Young on vocals, Joshua Cuevas on guitar, Alexis Angel on bass and Cody Tarbell on drums. Rather than assembling a single greatest-hits set, the project performs Led Zeppelin's live career chronologically, beginning with the blues-driven club sets of 1969 and advancing year by year through the arrangements as they changed on the road. The band uses period-accurate instruments, amplification, microphones and PA systems to approximate the conditions of the original concerts, and describes its subject as the way the songs evolved through repetition, risk and nightly creative pressure rather than the studio recordings. It works mainly on the West Coast club and theatre circuit, at rooms including Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz, the Siren in Morro Bay and the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks. The group is not affiliated with or endorsed by Led Zeppelin.
