comedy

Kyle Gordon is an American comedian, actor, musician and songwriter who writes satirical songs performed in character, parodying pop styles of the past. Born October 9, 1992 in Katonah, New York, he graduated from Denison University in 2014, where he sang with the a cappella group the Denison Hilltoppers, then moved to New York City and trained in improv at the Magnet Theater and on Brooklyn Comedy Collective house teams. He began posting comedy to YouTube in 2018 under the name kylegordonisgreat. His breakthrough came with Planet of the Bass, a 1990s-style Eurodance parody released August 15, 2023 under the persona DJ Crazy Times, with singer Chrissi Poland credited as Ms. Biljana Electronica. A snippet filmed at the Oculus in Lower Manhattan went viral in late July 2023, and the finished track debuted at number 46 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. The Jonas Brothers invited him to perform it at TD Garden in Boston that August, Fortnite issued an emote based on it in February 2024, and he voiced DJ Crazy Times in a 2024 episode of The Simpsons. His debut album, Kyle Gordon is Great, was released March 1, 2024 by BMG and reached number 8 on the US comedy albums chart, moving between Eurodance, 2000s country, pop-punk and bossa nova pastiche. Kyle Gordon is Wonderful followed on April 4, 2025, reached number 10, and took on British rap, nu metal, Italo disco and early-2010s folk-pop. A third album, Kyle Gordon is Everywhere, is scheduled for October 2, 2026 with narration by Daniel Radcliffe; its lead single, Mr. Jambo, arrived in July 2026. Other recurring characters in the catalogue include the Gammy Fluthers, Tanya McCabe and Antonio Frankfurt, and he performs the material live in character.
