Kevin Short

Kevin Short is an American operatic bass-baritone who has made more than 200 appearances at the Metropolitan Opera since 1991, where he created the role of Joseph in the premiere of John Corigliano's The Ghosts of Versailles. He trained at Morgan State University, the Curtis Institute of Music and Juilliard, and was a company member at Theater Basel from 2001 to 2004. He has also sung with Santa Fe Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Houston Grand Opera and the Canadian Opera Company.
