Kenny Barron Trio

The Kenny Barron Trio is the working small group of jazz pianist Kenny Barron, born in Philadelphia in 1943 and long based in New York. Barron played in Dizzy Gillespie's band in the 1960s, worked extensively with Stan Getz, and co-led the Thelonious Monk repertory group Sphere. He has received numerous Grammy nominations and was elected to the DownBeat Jazz Hall of Fame in 2022.
