Keir GoGwilt

Keir GoGwilt is a violinist, composer and musicologist who was born in Edinburgh and grew up in New York City. A founding member of the American Modern Opera Company, he has soloed with ensembles including the Orchestra of St. Luke's, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and the Chinese National Symphony, and has worked closely with composers such as Matthew Aucoin and Tan Dun. He graduated from Harvard in 2013 and earned a PhD in music from UC San Diego in 2022.
