Junius is a post-metal and alternative rock band formed in Boston in 2003, named after the pseudonym of an 18th-century British political writer. The five-piece pairs heavy, atmospheric guitar work with melodic vocals, and released the album Sotera on Prosthetic Records, its first full-length since 2017's Eternal Rituals for the Accretion of Light.
