JPEGMAFIA (Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, known as Peggy) is an American experimental hip-hop producer, rapper, and songwriter born in Brooklyn, New York, and based in Los Angeles, California. Celebrated for his abrasive, boundary-pushing production that fuses glitchy electronics, industrial distortion, punk ethos, and sharp political satire, JPEGMAFIA broke out with his 2018 LP Veteran. His catalog includes acclaimed albums All My Heroes Are Cornballs (2019), LP! (2021), the Danny Brown collaboration Scaring the Hoes (2023), and I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU (2024), headlining historic theaters worldwide including The Tabernacle in Atlanta.
