John K. is the performing name of guitarist and singer John Kadlecik, a Washington, D.C.-area musician who co-founded the Grateful Dead repertory band Dark Star Orchestra and later played with Bob Weir and Phil Lesh in Furthur. He tours in several formats, including a solo Acousti'Lectric setup and work with Melvin Seals & JGB.
