John Fogerty

John Fogerty is an American rock singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in 1945 in Berkeley, California, who founded Creedence Clearwater Revival and was its lead singer, lead guitarist and principal songwriter through the band's run from 1968 to 1972. His solo albums include Centerfield (1985) and Blue Moon Swamp (1997), and in 2023 he announced he had acquired the rights to the Creedence global song catalogue after a decades-long legal fight.
