John Conlee

John Conlee is a country singer born on a tobacco farm in Versailles, Kentucky, who moved to Nashville by 1971 and signed with ABC Records in 1976. He charted 32 singles between 1978 and 2004, among them seven number ones including Lady Lay Down, Backside of Thirty and Common Man. He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1981.
