John Cameron Mitchell

John Cameron Mitchell, born in 1963, is an American writer, director, actor and performer best known for creating the rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch with composer Stephen Trask and for writing, directing and starring in its 2001 film adaptation. He tours concert programs including the David Bowie shows Black Star Symphony and Queen Bitch, and Cassette Roulette with Amber Martin.
