Joey Porter Trio is a jazz-fusion group led by keyboardist Joey Porter of the funk band The Motet, joined by bassist Garrett Sayers, also of The Motet, and drummer Michelangelo Carubba, formerly of Turkuaz. The trio records for the Color Red label and draws on the fusion lineage of Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius and Billy Cobham.
