Jim Hurst

Jim Hurst is an American bluegrass and acoustic guitarist who took International Bluegrass Music Association guitar-performer honors in 2001 and 2002. He toured with Holly Dunn and Trisha Yearwood, played in Claire Lynch and the Front Porch String Band, and recorded the albums Two and Synergy in a duo with bassist Missy Raines. His solo records include Open Window, Second Son, Intrepid and Looking Glass, and he teaches guitar workshops and camps alongside touring.
