Jerron Paxton and Dennis Lichtman are a duo that has toured the United States and internationally together since 2019 and served as artists in residence at New York's Symphony Space for the 2024-25 season. Paxton, born in 1989 in Los Angeles, is a multi-instrumentalist playing country blues, ragtime and early jazz on banjo, fiddle, guitar and piano; Lichtman is a New York bandleader on clarinet, mandolin and violin. Their sets mix acoustic blues, Tin Pan Alley songs, 1920s jazz and twin-fiddle tunes.
