Jason Schmidt

Jason Schmidt is an American singer-songwriter and actor originally from Illinois and based in New York City. Widely known for originating the role of Sodapop Curtis in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical The Outsiders and starring as Buddy in Paramount+'s Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Schmidt creates soulful indie pop and pop-rock. His recording career includes the EPs Meet Me at Midnight (2021) and Intrusive Thoughts (2023), touring national clubs including the Larimer Lounge in Denver.
