Jason Carter Band is the group led by bluegrass fiddler Jason Carter, who spent more than three decades as fiddler for the Del McCoury Band and was a founding member of the Travelin' McCourys before leaving both bands in 2025 to focus on his solo career. An Ashland, Kentucky native, Carter has been named IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year six times and has won Grammy Awards as a member of the Del McCoury Band and the Travelin' McCourys, and the band's set draws on his 2022 solo album Lowdown Hoedown.
