James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review

James McMurtry is an American singer-songwriter working in roots rock, folk rock and Americana, born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1962 and long associated with the Austin scene. His albums include Too Long in the Wasteland (1989), Childish Things (2005), which won the Americana Music Association's Album of the Year, and The Horses and the Hounds (2021). He tours steadily with a full backing band.
