ILUKA

ILUKA is an Australian-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who was raised on a farm in Australia's Blue Mountains. Her father was a songwriter and guitar-maker who taught her the craft early: she began recording on a 12-track desk at seven and had albums' worth of material written by fifteen. Her writing mixes country twang with rock and soul, and her own biography and the press around her place her between the pop sensibility of Adele, the growl of Janis Joplin and the lyrical mystique of Stevie Nicks; on stage she plays a white Gretsch Falcon. Signed to Nettwerk, she released her debut full-length, the wild, the innocent & the raging, on 21 November 2025, preceded by the singles Crucify Me, Girl on the Run, Woman Gone Mad and Witch Girls. The record's subject matter runs through womanhood, defiance and belonging, love and heartbreak, environmental concern and a feminist reading of the modern female experience. Crucify Me came out of being picked apart online and realising how much strangers build their own version of a person, while Witch Girls, issued on Halloween 2025, was written for people who found power in their otherness. She has framed the album as a celebration of individuality and of refusing to conform. Her first headline show in her adopted hometown came at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles in December 2025, and she has since headlined the first leg of the Wings Tour across the United States and Australia, with 2026 dates including ACL Live at 3TEN in Austin, Holocene in Portland, the Starlet Room at Harlow's in Sacramento and the Duck Room at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis. Nettwerk scheduled a deluxe edition of the album for 10 July 2026.
