Hot Like Mars

Hot Like Mars is an American jam-funk, soul, and R&B quintet formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 2023. Composed of lead vocalist and keyboardist Anthony Perry (A.P.), guitarists Pat Walsh and Frankie 'Lightning' Minella, bassist Lamontae Norwood, and drummer Wes Julien, the group combines classic Motown soul grooves and gospel harmonies with high-energy improvisational jam rock. Touring nationally and sharing bills with Andy Frasco and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, the band performs across premier clubs including MilkBoy in Philadelphia.
