The Hot Club of Cowtown is an Austin, Texas-based Western swing and hot jazz group formed in 1997 and centered on fiddler and vocalist Elana James and guitarist Whit Smith. The band pairs the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt with the Western swing of Bob Wills, and has toured with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson and performed at the Grand Ole Opry and Glastonbury Festival. Albums include Swingin' Stampede, Ghost Train and What Makes Bob Holler.
