Hot Brown Smackdown is a progressive newgrass band from Louisville, Kentucky that blends traditional bluegrass instrumentation with rock, jazz and funk. The six-piece features Anthony Le on guitar, Patrick Schroering on mandolin, John Blum on banjo, Ellie Ruth Miller on fiddle, Justin Cecil on bass and Arthur Geissler on drums. They released a self-titled debut album in 2021.
