Hard Bop Messengers

The Hard Bop Messengers are a St. Louis jazz ensemble led by trombonist and composer John Covelli, playing original material rooted in hard bop with Latin, funk, soul and chamber-classical influences. The group draws on players from Webster University's jazz program, and recorded its album Live at the Last Hotel out of a residency at the Last Hotel in downtown St. Louis.
