Geographer

Geographer is an American indie rock and synth-pop project formed in San Francisco, California, in 2007 by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mike Deni. Characterized by expansive analog synthesizers, electric cello textures, and emotive vocal melodies, Geographer has released acclaimed albums including Myth (2012), Ghost Modern (2015), Down and Out in the Garden of Earthly Delights (2021), and A Mirror Brightly (2024). Deni tours nationally as a headlining act, performing at historic concert venues including The Fillmore in San Francisco.
