Free Range Folk is a band from Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh River valley, playing original material that mixes bluegrass and folk with what the group calls dirt rock, choral harmony and brass-band arrangements. Its large rotating lineup includes Brett Andrew, Amber and Josh Finsel, Shawn McCarty, Doug Makofka on accordion and keys, and a horn section of Kyle O'Brien and Dan Ruch.
