Forest Stoke
americana · folk
Forest Stoke is the folk and country solo project of Zach Hamer, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Skagit County, Washington, and a founding member of the band Kuinka. Hamer has spent roughly a decade playing festivals and clubs coast to coast, and carries that experience into a solo set built around his own singing and guitar work rather than a fixed backing band. The project released the singles So Sad and Radio Dial in 2025, both featuring backing vocals by Camp Bedford and both recorded at Prism Analog Studios with engineer and producer Jerry Streeter. Alongside them sits a country reworking of Rob Zombie's Dragula, a country-alternative rendition that circulated widely online and drew a national audience to the project on top of its Pacific Northwest following. Forest Stoke plays regional Washington rooms including the Shakedown in Bellingham, where it has appeared on the Heels to the Hardwood bill alongside Walker and the Stardust Rangers, and Hidden Hall in Seattle.
