Flagship Romance

Flagship Romance is an alternative folk duo made up of the married singer-songwriters Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson, based in Louisville, Kentucky after an earlier period working out of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. The pair perform with two voices and a single acoustic guitar, building an unusually full sound out of close harmony singing, and they write together, sharing credit on nearly all of their material. Their first full-length album, Fee Fie Foh Fum, appeared in February 2015, followed in August 2017 by Tales from the Self-Help Section, produced and engineered by Lucio Rubino at Fish Tank Recordings in St. Augustine, Florida and mastered by Jeff Lipton and Maria Rice. Concentric arrived in February 2019, and ECCENTRIC, released in February 2021, reworks that album as electronic pop, produced by Tal Rom with Lee Miles co-producing. Their fifth full-length is a self-titled double album, the first part of which was released in June 2025 and was funded entirely by their audience. Shorter releases include the Sally the Snowflake EP, A Very Flagshippy Christmas and The Fudge Sessions. The duo have financed much of their catalogue through crowdfunding, raising more than $175,000 across several campaigns, and they tour heavily, reporting over 250,000 miles travelled since forming. They completed three European tours covering eleven countries across 2024 and 2025 and are booking another for the winter of 2027. Their current run is a six-month cross-country United States tour co-headlined with the folk duo The Rough & Tumble, which brings them to rooms such as the Tuft Theatre at Swallow Hill Music in Denver. Their records have been reviewed by outlets including Americana UK and Folk Radio UK.
