Eddie Montgomery

Eddie Montgomery is an American country singer born in Danville, Kentucky, and one half of the duo Montgomery Gentry, which he formed with Troy Gentry in 1999. The Country Music Association named the duo Vocal Duo of the Year in 2000, the year they also won the Academy of Country Music's Top New Vocal Duo or Group award, and they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009. Since Gentry died in a 2017 helicopter crash, Montgomery has continued to tour under the Montgomery Gentry name and has pursued a solo career.
