Dead Sessions is an American Grateful Dead tribute and improvisational jam collective formed in Burlington, Vermont, in 1998. Composed of veteran Northeast jam musicians who have shared stages with members of the Grateful Dead, Phish, and Gov't Mule, the group is celebrated for exploratory jams and faithful recreations of the Grateful Dead live concert experience. A long-running staple of the New England jam scene, Dead Sessions performs recurring headline concerts at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont.
