Cole Quest and the City Pickers is an American bluegrass and roots band based in Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2017 and led by dobro player, singer, and songwriter Cole Quest (grandson of legendary American folk icon Woody Guthrie), the ensemble infuses hard-driving traditional bluegrass with the fast-paced energy of New York City. The band has released the EP Self [En]Titled (2021) on Omnivore Recordings and the full-length album Homegrown (2025), touring internationally and performing alongside artists including Billy Strings and Tony Trischka.
