Chris Brashear & Peter McLaughlin

Chris Brashear and Peter McLaughlin are an American acoustic duo whose repertoire spans bluegrass, old-time, blues, mountain ballads and cowboy songs. Brashear, who grew up in Ozark, Missouri, plays fiddle, guitar and mandolin; McLaughlin won the National Flatpicking Guitar Championship in 1988 and played guitar in Laurie Lewis's band in the 1990s. The two also performed together in the string band The Perfect Strangers, and their duo album Desert Heart, Mountain Soul was released in 2021.
