Charlie Torch is a bluegrass band based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. The ensemble features guitarist and vocalist Jayna Manning, mandolinist Jasper Manning, acclaimed fiddler Chad Manning (known for his work with the David Grisman Sextet and Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands), banjoist Tyler Stegall, and bassist Paul Knight. The group blends traditional bluegrass, mountain music, and classic country, distinguished by tight family vocal harmonies and intricate acoustic picking.
