Cat Power is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, born in Atlanta in 1972, who has recorded under the name since 1992. Her indie rock and folk-leaning catalog includes Moon Pix (1998), The Greatest (2006) and Sun (2012), released over a long tenure with Matador Records and, more recently, Domino.
