Carolyn Wonderland

Carolyn Wonderland is an Austin, Texas-based blues singer and guitarist, born in Houston in 1972. Her electric Texas blues draws on country, swing, gospel and soul, across albums including Miss Understood (2008), Peace Meal (2011), Tempting Fate (2021) and Truth Is (2025). From 2018 she played lead guitar in John Mayall's band, the only woman to hold that role in his career.
