Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers is the touring band of American singer, songwriter and pianist Bruce Hornsby, assembled around 1998. Hornsby, from Williamsburg, Virginia, won the 1987 Grammy for Best New Artist after the success of The Way It Is and toured as a member of the Grateful Dead from 1990 to 1992; the band's music draws on rock, jazz, bluegrass and jam band traditions.
