Broken Social Scene is an indie rock collective from Toronto, Ontario, founded in 1999 by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. Its membership has ranged from six to nineteen players, many of whom also perform in Metric, Feist and Stars. Its albums include You Forgot It in People (2002), first released on Paper Bag Records, and the Arts & Crafts releases Forgiveness Rock Record (2010) and Hug of Thunder (2017).
