Broken Compass Bluegrass is a Northern California string band formed in 2021 by Kyle Ledson, Django Ruckrich and Mei Lin Heirendt, with bassist Sam Jacobs joining in 2022. The quartet plays progressive, jam-leaning bluegrass and has released the albums Fool's Gold in 2023 and Through These Trees in 2024, with festival appearances including MerleFest, High Sierra Music Festival, Strawberry Music Festival and WinterWonderGrass.
