Blookah is the electronic project of producer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Jenkins, described on his own site as based between Denver and Chicago. The music moves across future bass, house, neo-soul and funk, built as much from live instrumental playing as from programmed beats. The self-released Bandcamp catalog includes the Can't Help Myself EP, the own two EP and the collaborative track Waterpolo with Mary Bozaan, alongside the more recent NEXUM, also issued in a deluxe edition. The project works the national club and festival circuit, with 2026 dates that include Cervantes' in Denver, The Office in Nashville, The Showbox in Seattle, Terminal West in Atlanta and Concourse Project in Austin, plus festival bookings at Lockn' Farm in Arrington, Virginia and Secret Dreams Music and Arts Festival.
