Black Veil Brides

glam metal · glam rock · hard rock

Black Veil Brides is an American rock band formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2006 and now based in Hollywood, California. Vocalist Andy Biersack has fronted the group since the start; Jinxx joined in 2009 on rhythm guitar, violin and cello, lead guitarist Jake Pitts and drummer Christian CC Coma both arrived in 2010, and bassist Lonny Eagleton completed the current five-piece in 2019. The band is known for stage imagery of black makeup, body paint and studded clothing drawn from 1980s glam metal acts, matched to a sound that sits between hard rock, glam metal and metalcore. Its debut, We Stitch These Wounds, appeared in 2010 and was followed by Set the World on Fire in 2011 and the concept album Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones in 2013. A self-titled fourth record arrived in 2014, then Vale in 2018 and The Phantom Tomorrow in 2021. The group signed to Spinefarm Records in 2024 and released the Bleeders EP that year before its seventh studio album, Vindicate, in May 2026. Black Veil Brides built its audience through festival and package touring, with runs on the Warped Tour and appearances at Download and Rock am Ring, and more recently the Popular MonsTOUR II in 2024 and North American dates supporting Babymetal in 2025. Its 2026 schedule pairs headline club and theater dates with festival slots at Welcome to Rockville in May and Louder Than Life in September.
