Benny G

Benny G is a country-soul singer, songwriter and guitarist who grew up on Long Island, New York. He started out on violin and moved to guitar at six, and later trained under Tomo Fujita at Berklee College of Music. His writing draws on John Mayer, Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton and Ray LaMontagne, pairing blues-leaning electric guitar with plainspoken country phrasing and soul cadences. His releases include the singles I Got a Feeling and An Hour or So and the EP When You Know You Know, which arrived on April 17, 2026. On the road he has opened for Congress The Band, Sons of Legion, the Jack Wharff Band and Penelope Road, and through 2026 he is supporting Ty Myers on every date of The Legal Tour. He is booked to appear at the Grand Ole Opry on October 11, 2026, as part of the house's Opry 100 celebration. His own headline dates run through smaller East Coast rooms, including MilkBoy in Philadelphia.
