Bear Hat

Bear Hat is a Colorado bluegrass and Americana band based in the Boulder area, describing its sound as gritty grunge grass acoustic exploration. The six-piece plays without a drummer, drawing on old-time, swing, blues and rock. The band plays Front Range venues and festivals including the Gold Hill Inn and Jamestown Mercantile, and appears on the Roots Music Project's On the Rise compilation of emerging local artists.
