Bass Temple

Bass Temple is a Denver, Colorado bass music DJ and producer who started out playing on the Big Island of Hawaii before relocating to Colorado. Her sets move from slow, heavy low-end into melodic loop-built passages, crossing subgenres rather than settling in one; she describes the effect as a musical kaleidoscope. She released the EP The Beginning through Gravitas Recordings in 2022, premiered by Headbang Society, and the track Space through The Gradient Perspective the same year. Her Bandcamp catalogue also carries the releases Evolutions and Channel from the Ether, remix work, and the collaborations At First Light with LIL FISH and Ultraviolet with Reina Williams. DJ Magazine named her among its artists to watch for 2023. In Denver she has played Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, The Black Box and Your Mom's House, and performs regularly for the city's ecstatic dance community; festival appearances include CloZee's Voyage, Unison Festival and PlayThink. She has shared bills with Jantsen, CloZee and Defunk, and is represented by the booking agency Grand Alliance Music.
