Autumn Kings

Autumn Kings is a hard rock band formed in 2015 in LaSalle, Ontario, and now based in Detroit, Michigan, made up of Jake Diab, Joseph Coccimiglio and Troy Dawdy. The group spent roughly nine years releasing music independently before signing to Hopeless Records in August 2024, a stretch that produced the albums Silver Screens (2017) and Book of the Broken (2022), the EP Electrified (2019) and the acoustic collection Unplugged Sessions (2023). Its sound is categorized as hard rock with pop rock and alternative rock elements and draws openly on Linkin Park and Metallica, while the band frames its writing around isolation, anxiety and the feeling of never being enough, treating those songs as arguments for confronting adversity rather than avoiding it. The label deal coincided with the band's first sustained radio traction: Sleep When I'm Dead reached number 16 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart in 2024 and Hellbound climbed to number 18, while Gone, Gone, Gone reached number 7 on Mainstream Rock and number 30 on Rock and Alternative Airplay in 2026. A fourth album, Epiphanies, arrives in 2026. The band has also issued the promotional single Snake Charmer and Young Bloods, a collaboration with singer Howard Jones. Alongside the recordings Autumn Kings has toured internationally and opened for Hollywood Undead, Set It Off and Fame on Fire, and its video output includes covers of songs originally recorded by Aerosmith, the Plastic Ono Band and Ricky Martin.
