Arrested Development is a hip hop group formed in Atlanta in 1988 by rapper and producer Speech and DJ Headliner. Its debut album, 3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life Of... (1992), made the group the first hip hop act to win the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and it followed with Zingalamaduni in 1994.
