Amythyst Kiah is an American singer, guitarist and banjo player born in Chattanooga and based in Johnson City, Tennessee, who describes her mix of folk, blues and alternative rock as Southern Gothic. She was part of the Our Native Daughters project alongside Rhiannon Giddens, Leyla McCalla and Allison Russell, and records for Rounder Records, releasing Wary + Strange (2021) and Still + Bright (2024).
